Dubai Economic Outlook

The Seminar ‘Dubai Economic Outlook 2011’ was held in Dubai on 30th March 2011. The purpose of the Seminar is to foster effective and transparent communication and dialogue within and between public and private sectors on issues vital for Dubai’s sustainable development. The objective of Dubai Economic Outlook 2011 was to reach better understanding of macroeconomic and sector specific opportunities and drivers in the year 2011. The Seminar dealt with topics of the overall macroeconomic outlook, interaction between Dubai’s economy and the world economy, sectoral outlooks and key drivers of growth for 2011. Sector outlooks including logistics and transportation, trade, real estate, tourism, retail etc. were discussed as well as their key strengths and areas for improvement. The Seminar gathered key public and private sector decision and opinion makers.
