Commercial Rules and Regulations

This part includes a summary of commercial protection laws, such as Trade Marks Law, Fraud and Swindling Law, as well as Commercial Agencies Law. It also shows which government authorities are responsible for applying such laws, method of registration and submission of complaints against fraudulent practices, and the Department’s role in this respect.

The Department’s main concern is to ensure, in coordination with other relevant government authorities, that all laws and regulations are implemented to protect licensees in the Emirate and the investments they have made in promoting their various establishments and products.
